Spinal injury in dogs

Animals suspected with a spinal injury should be immobilised to prevent further injury.

A spinal injury in your dog can be traumatic and scary for most owners. Quite often, it may occur due to a collision with a car, a fall from a height, or a sudden impact into a door. They may even have cause another injury elsewhere.

If you suspect such an injury it’s advisable to seek immediate veterinarian assistance. They can assess the situation and advise the appropriate action and aftercare.
